Keke Palmer Welcomed Oakland's Rising Star Jane Handcock to Hollywood This Week

Her Performance Marked the Release of Latest Music 'Where's Jane? 1.5'

Jane Handcock has been writing hits for years for some of our favorite artists, but on Wednesday she gave a performance of her own, and it was fit for a star! Keke Palmer (who came up on stage just to let the crowd know how much she rocks with the talented Ms. Handcock) was among the many celebrities and artists who got to experience Jane's latest project Where's Jane? 1.5 inside the Echoing Soundz holiday party in Hollywood. The Bay Area-based singer/songwriter hooked the crowd with her rendition of Erykah Badu's "On and On," and then went into her latest singles while listeners (including Wiz Khalifa, Rosa Acosta, Eric Bellinger, RoccStar, Gangsta Boo and Andre' Truth!) vibed to her smooth sound.

This latest project is in line with the many solid offerings from Jane Handcock this year, and is helping cement her status as not just a talented writer, but as a vocalist with the SKILLS to win. Relationships are often the focus of her lyrics, but these aren't typical love songs. From the introspective “Ghetto Gospel,” to ballad “Ain’t S**t” with frequent collaborator Adrian Marcel, Jane’s talent and versatility shine. Keep your eyes on this rising star and enjoy Where's Jane? 1.5 above.
