Kendrick Lamar And SZA Settle Claims They Stole An African-Artists' Work

The court case has been dismissed and all parties seem to be satisfied with the outcome.

(AllHipHop News) Kendrick Lamar and SZA are ending the year by clearing up a nagging legal issue that plagued them in 2018.

TDE's two biggest artists were accused of stealing scenes from artists Link Iris Viktor's "Constellations" series and using them in the "All The Stars" music video by Kendrick Lamar and SZA.

Viktor claimed the artists sought permission to use the images and she denied permission.

But they decided to recreate the images instead of using the British-Liberian artist's actual 24-K gold paintings for the video for the song, which is taken from the "Black Panther" soundtrack.

Apparently, Kendrick and SZA were in no mood for a protracted legal battle, so they have decided to settle with Viktor.

While financial terms of the agreement were not divulged, all of the claims against Kendrick and SZA have been dropped and the entire case has been dismissed.
