(AllHipHop News) Rap star Kendrick Lamar will be heading overseas this Summer, and maybe his appearance can help the U.S. with an international crisis.
Kendrick will be visiting South Korea for the first time in July when he headlines Hyundai Card's "Super Concert 24."
Each year, the "Super Concert" brings top artists from around the world, to the stages in South Korea. Past artists like Eminem, Paul McCartney, and Stevie Wonder have served as headlines for the annual event.
Kendrick will hit the stage at the Jamsil Olympic Stadium on July 30.
The news comes amidst heightened tension between the United States and North Korea after a peace summit between the two countries fell apart over smack talk from both sides.
Even though President Trump scrapped the meeting with North Korea, its leader Kim Jong Il continues on a path towards reconciliation with South Korea, in preparation for an upcoming peace summit with other Asian nations on June 12.
