Someone made the good kid mad. Kendrick Lamar served as the headliner for the Sweetlife Festival this weekend (May 31), which was held by the salad chain Sweetgreen. Before he kicked off a performance of "m.A.A.d city," the TDE rep searched the crowd for a fan to bring on stage under one condition: they had to now all the words to the track.
He ended up picking Sweetgreen CEO and co-founder Jonathan Neman, but he stage time was cut short when he failed to know the words and was "ad-libbing as he went along" K-Dot said. He then picked a female fan who went word-for-word with the "i" rapper.
