Kendrick Lamar Lands In Top 3 On The Forbes List Of Highest-Paid Hip-Hop Acts

TDE's superstar tops Drake, Dr. Dre, Kanye West, and more.

(AllHipHop News)Forbes released its annual list of "The World's Highest-Paid Hip-Hop Acts." Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter returned to the #1 position for 2018 with $76.5 million. Sean 'Diddy" Combs slipped to #2 with $64 million.

The two icons are constantly vying for the lead. However, this year, a new competitor rose into the Top 3. Kendrick Lamar's $58 million was enough for him to land right behind Jay and Diddy.

That's the highest earnings total of Kendrick's career. The Pulitzer Prize winner profited from headlining two tours as well as deals with Nike and American Express. Last year, K. Dot was listed at #6 with $30 million.

The rest of 2018's "Highest-Paid Hip-Hop Acts" list features Kanye West (#10 - $27.5 million), Future (#9 - $30 million), Pitbull (#8 - $32 million), Nas (#6 - 35 million), Dr. Dre (#6 - 35 million), J. Cole (#5 - $35.5 million), and Drake (#4 - $47 million).

Lil Yachty, Rick Ross, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, and Wiz Khalifa made the list in 2017 but failed to return this year. They were replaced by Russ, Meek Mill, Logic, Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Scott, Eminem, Migos, and Nas.
