Kendrick Lamar employed the deep fake work of Deep Voodoo, the studio run by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

Kendrick Lamar dropped a new song just days ahead of the release of his new album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers

The Compton rapper also delivered a surprise music video for the track, which uses deep fake technology to morph Kendrick’s face into the likes of O.J. Simpson, Will Smith, Jussie Smollett, Kobe Bryant, and Kanye West, and Nipsey Hussle. It opens with the quote: “I am. All of us.” Watch the video below.

“As I get a little older, I realize life is perspective and my perspective may differ from yours,” Kendrick Lamar says in the song’s intro. “I wanna say thank you to everyone that’s been down with me. For all my fans, all my beautiful fans. Anyone who’s ever gave me a listen. All my people.”

Kendrick Lamar announced his fifth studio album, titled Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, will hit DSPs on May 13. The project follows his Pulitzer Prize and Grammy-winning project DAMN, released in 2017.

In August, Kendrick Lamar announced his upcoming album is his final one for Top Dawg Entertainment. “As I produce my final TDE album, I feel joy to have been a part of such a cultural imprint after 17 years,”,” he wrote in an update posted on his website. “The Struggles. The Success. And most importantly, the Brotherhood. May the Most High continue to use Top Dawg as a vessel for candid creators. As I continue to pursue my life’s calling. There’s beauty in completion. And always faith in the unknown.”
