(AllHipHop News) Kendrick Lamar is usually not the most active celebrity on Twitter, but the Grammy winner used the social media platform last night to salute to some of his peers.

The “HUMBLE” rapper shouted out JAY-Z for his induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Kendrick then acknowledged Nipsey Hussle for his new “smart store” The Marathon, and he had positive words for 2 Chainz’s Pretty Girls Like Trap Music LP.

In addition, the TDE emcee praised actor Demetrius Shipp Jr. for his role as Tupac Shakur in All Eyez On Me.

“JAY HALL OF FAME. NIPSEY MORE BLACK BUSINESS MOVES. LIL MEECH NAILED HIS PAC DEBUT. 2CHAINZ SNAPPIN THE WHOLE ALBUM. RAP RUN IT 4EVER!” tweeted Lamar.

K. Dot is doing his part to properly represent rap music too.

His critically-acclaimed DAMN is still maintaining a Top 5 appearance on the Billboard 200 album chart after spending three weeks in the #1 spot.
