(AllHipHop News) YAK! YAK! YAK! YAK!
The Grammy's are at it again with genre blending collaborative performances from labelmates. Similar to Wiz Khalifa performing with Atlantic Records labelmate Miguel at last year's Grammy's, Kendrick Lamar will perform with alternative rock group Imagine Dragon.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, it was revealed that the two Interscope labelmates will perform a mash up of Imagine Dragon's "Radioactive" and Kendrick Lamar's "M.A.A.D. City" at the 56th annual Grammy Awards.
Lamar admits this will be his first time attending the Grammy's and says he found out about his nominations after he got off stage at a performance. He also spoke on his surprise over the reaction to his "Control" verse:
It wasn’t pre-meditated, it just came to me when I was writing that bar. The crazy part is, I didn’t think it would ever go to where diss records were coming at me. I thought people would be like… he threw some challenges out there… that was dope.
