Kevin Durant Names His Favorite Hip Hop Albums Of All Time

The 2017 NBA Finals MVP sits down to answer questions from 'Fast Money' readers.

(AllHipHop News) Besides being an MVP-caliber basketball player, Kevin Durant is also a part-time rapper. The Golden State Warriors superstar is obviously a fan of other Hip Hop performers as well.

KD appears on the new cover of Fast Company magazine. He sat down to answer questions from the publication's readers and was asked to name his favorite albums of all time.

Durant stated:

That’s an impossible question. Albums that were huge in my life that I can remember - [Kanye West's] College Dropout was a huge time in my life. I can remember that like it was yesterday. [Lauryn Hill's] The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill was a huge part of my life. That’s probably the only album my mom allowed me to listen to as a kid. The Hot Boyz album... no, I want to say [Lil Wayne's] Tha Block Is Hot was the first rap album I ever bought with my own money. I remember where I bought it at. It was right next to a Shoppers food warehouse, and it was this CD shop next door in the cut. I can remember it like it was yesterday. My mom gave me an allowance, which was really her money but it was mine, and I paid for it. The only thing I paid for was a Lil Wayne CD. Travis Scott’s first album [Rodeo] was huge too as well in my life. Yeah, that’s all the albums that probably meant a lot in my life personally.
