Ride Along, starring Ice Cube and Kevin Hart, was such a box office smash that it was only right that a sequel be put into the works. According to reports, the two will be reuniting to as brother-in-laws for another installment of the comedy-action flick.
The story line for the film is unknown, but it will be debuting on the big screen January 15th, 2016. Tim Story will be back as the film's director while the script will be handled by Phil Hay.
Ride Along grossed $153 million in box office sales worldwide and Universal is looking for the same colossal number when the sequels drops during the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend.
Ice Cube is also looking to have a big weekend at the box office this weekend with the release of the N.W.A biopic, Straight Outta Compton, which will be in theaters this Friday (Aug. 14).
