(AllHipHop News) Mind blown...Hurt...at a lost for words and simply in complete disbelief at the moment. WOW," tweeted Kevin Hart when he found out it was a friend that allegedly attempted to extort him.
"Action" Jonathan Todd Jackson was charged with the felony counts of attempted extortion and extortion by threatening letter. The actor also known as J.T. appeared in the Hart-led film Think Like a Man Too and apparently attended Hart's wedding.
"Jackson is accused of trying to extort an undisclosed amount of money from Hart between Aug. 25 and Aug. 30, 2017," stated the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. "Jackson allegedly had a videotape of the actor with a woman in Las Vegas and then is accused of trying to sell the recording to numerous celebrity news websites."
Hart issued a public apology to his wife and children after reports were apparently set to break about the sex tape. He fictionalized the fallout from the situation in J. Cole's "Kevin's Heart" music video.
Jackson is being held on $100,000 bail and could face up to four years in jail.https://www.google.com/sorry/index?continue=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufynqs_COF4%26feature=youtu.be&q=EgQi3HnaGKSCg_kFIhkA8aeDSzW3wObLkp5t_WzSMlEyVRCW0JE8MgFy
