Keyshia Cole Facing Lawsuit From Woman She Assaulted Over Birdman
After attacking a woman at YMCMB boss Birdman's condo in September, Keyshia Cole somehow avoided legal charges. But now, the woman she put her paws on is filing a lawsuit.
TMZ reports that Sabrina Mercadel is suing Cole for $1 million and is seeking damages for battery, negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress and premises liability. The Oakland songstress became violent with Mercadel after she went to Birdman's condo one night and found her coming out of his bathroom. Mercadel, who says she has worked at Cash Money Records for 10 years, claims her relationship with the 'no. 1 stunna' is strictly platonic. Mercadel currently has a restraining order that requires Cole to stay 100 yeards away from her.
The "I Remember" singer has yet to comment on the lawsuit.
