Kid Cudi Orders $10,000 Worth Of Popeyes From Postmates To Give To The Homeless

The Cleveland-bred singer/rapper/actor gives back in Cali.

(AllHipHop News) Scott "Kid Cudi" Mescudi was in a giving mood over the weekend. The "Pursuit of Happiness" performer was in Indio, California for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

On Friday night, Cudi purchased $10,000 worth of food from Popeyes for the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission. TMZ reports that hundreds of homeless individuals were given chicken, biscuits, mashed potatoes, and fries when the Postmates order arrived.

The Coachella Valley Rescue Mission posted on Instagram, "Now this is downright dope! [Kid Cudi] in town performing at #Coachella. He generously donated Popeye's Chicken to feed the whole mission and had it delivered by [Postmates]. We appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness [Kid Cudi]!"

Cudi and Postmates also partnered to create a Munchies Menu to celebrate 4/20. The list of cuisine consists of Scott's favorite items from restaurants in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Miami, and Chicago. Postmates users can order from the Cudi-curated Munchies Menu through April 25.
