Kid Cudi Says He Auditioned For A Role In ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’

THE RAPPER/ACTOR APPEARS IN ANOTHER FILM LATER THIS FALL

(AllHipHop News) The next installment of the wildly popular Star Wars franchise is set to hit theaters this December. The cast for Episode VII includes the return of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill.

Apparently Star Wars: The Force Awakens could have consisted of a Hip Hop artist as well. Cleveland rapper/actor Kid Cudi revealed to his Twitter followers he auditioned for a part in the movie.

Cudi (aka Scott Mescudi) previously appeared in the films Need for Speed, Two Night Stand, and Entourage, He also had a main role in the HBO series How to Make It in America. His next project James White is scheduled for release on November 13.
