Kid Cudi Talks Making The 'Kids See Ghosts' Album And His Current Mental Health

(AllHipHop News) Supporters of Kid Cudi showered the Hip Hop trendsetter with positive thoughts after he checked himself into a rehab facility for depression and suicidal urges back in 2016. Earlier this year, Cudi returned with new music by teaming with Kanye West for the Kids See Ghosts joint album.

“I chose to write the light,” the 34-year-old musician/actor told GQ. “Me and Kanye both agreed that we wanted to create a spiritual album. I know kids are used to hearing me talk about darkness, but I'm living in the light now.”

Additionally, Cudi expressed that he's in a good mental state at the moment. He declared, “I'm not battling any demons right now. Thank God."

The man born Scott Mescudi is said to be working with Oscar winner Jordan Peele on a "secret" new television show. His fans are surely hoping more tunes also come out in the near future. Kid Cudi's last solo LP was 2016's Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'.
