Killer Mike Reveals "Run The Jewels 2" Will Be Darker & Harder

KILLER MIKE TALKS "RUN THE JEWELS 2" & OTHER PROJECTS HE HAS ON THE WAY

(AllHipHop News) Hip Hop duo Run The Jewels are preparing to release the sequel to their critically acclaimed 2013 self-titled album. One half of the group spoke with Rolling Stone about the upcoming Run The Jewels 2.

"[Run The Jewels 2] is much darker and much harder than I thought it would be," said Killer Mike. "It's pushed me into some darker crevices of my personality."

Besides dropping another effort with El-P as Run The Jewels, Mike has several other projects in the works as well. He plans to release R.A.P. Music2 in 2014, and he's completing an album called The Elegant Elephant and the I Pledge Allegiance to the Grind IV mixtape.

"The Pledge series is a marker for my career. It's about this mantra: you can get rich independently; you can decide who you are; you can decide what you're about," added Mike.
