Kodak Black Addresses Walking Out Of Tense Interview With Hot 97's Ebro

The "Zeze" hitmaker heads over to Power 105.1 to talk about the viral moment.

(AllHipHop News) December is typically a slow news month, but this week produced a Hip Hop story that had the timeline in a frenzy. Kodak Black was a guest on Hot 97's Ebro In The Morning, but the interview ended with the Dying to Live album creator walking out of the studio early.

Ebro gave his side of the story on Twitter. The radio personality also spoke about the incident the following day on his show. He defended his decision to mention Kodak's pending criminal sexual conduct case.

Kodak stopped by Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club this week too. Of course, that conversation included questions about the tense standoff that took place at Hot 97.

"I feel like people don't want to see this happy-go-lucky Kodak. The interview was about to end so good... I wanted to tear this whole radio station up. I felt like that. But at the same time I'm sitting down with all these people talking money. So if I would've showed out, I would've scared my money away again," said the masked rapper.

"My momma, my family, my people hit me up, 'I'm so proud of you how you handled that,'" added the 21-year-old, Florida-raised rhymer. "Cause you gonna put the police on me."
