Kodak Black's Good Behavior Earns Him Early Release From Prison

Good behavior plus some time served has earned the rapper an early release.

(AllHipHop News) Kodak Black just received some good news - he will be home before the end of the summer.

Kodak is currently finishing up what was supposed to be a year long sentence for probation violations, after investigators saw marijuana and ammunition in one of his Instagram post.

Almost a week later, a SWAT team raided Kodak's house and took him into custody.

The rapper, who was facing 12 years for that incident, got off relatively easy after his lawyer argued the ammo and the marijuana in video could not be authenticated by cops.

Kodak has also been a model prisoner while behind bars.

He earned his GED, and vowed to make a fresh start by legally changing his name to Bill Capri.

Kodak, who was due to be released from prison in October, will now hit the streets this August.

Kodak still has to deal with rape charges levied against to by a young woman in South Carolina, which could send the rapper away for 30 years.
