Kodak Black's Probation Ends

Kodak Black is a free man but she still facing legal challenges.

(AllHipHop News) Newly-released rapper Kodak Black is celebrating after having his probation terminated.

The rapper, 21, had initially been due to serve a year behind bars in Florida after pleading guilty to two probation violations, including driving on a suspended license back in April.

Several other violation charges, including child neglect, relating to a police raid on his home earlier this year, were dropped.

He was given a break earlier this month, when he was granted an early release from jail, and on Monday a judge officially ended his probation period and closed his criminal case.

The ruling was based on a good behavior recommendation from authorities at the Department of Corrections.

It's one less legal woe for Kodak, who has a history of run-ins with the law. He is also facing prosecution for first degree criminal sexual conduct, after an alleged incident with a teenage girl at a South Carolina hotel following a concert in 2016.

He was indicted by a grand jury last October and freed on bond on December 1.

Kodak faces up to 30 years behind bars if convicted in that case.
