Kodak Black To Face Rape Trial In April
(AllHipHop News) Kodak Black has not escaped his legal problems and he could be going back to prison.
Kodak was present for a court hearing in Florence, South Carolina, where he is facing trial for a sexual assault.
The rapper must return to South Carolina this April to start his trial.
Until then, he is banned from the state.
The rap star was indicted on charges of first-degree sexual assault back in October of 2017.
The charges stem from an incident in February 2016, where Kodak allegedly raped a teenaged girl at a Comfort Inn and Suites after he performed at the Treasure City nightclub.
According to reports, the girl is underaged, because she reported the rape to her school nurse, which sparked an investigation, and eventually charges against Kodak Black.
Kodak, real name Bill K. Kapri, is facing up to 30 years in prison over the allegations.
