(AllHipHop News) Christmas has come early for rapper Kodak Black after he scored his first number one on the U.S. albums chart.
Dying to Live, the MC's first following his prison release in August, debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 with 89,000 equivalent sales units, of which only 5,000 were in physical album sales.
It marks his best Billboard placing to date after previously peaking at two and three with respective albums Project Baby 2 and Painting Pictures, which both debuted last year.
He also dropped Heart Break Kodak earlier this year while he was behind bars for a series of probation violations, but that only reached number 25.
Dying to Live is trailed by Meek Mill's Championships, which holds at two, while Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper's "A Star Is Born" soundtrack climbs to three.
