(AllHipHop News) While at Cipha Sounds' Take It Personal event last Friday (Nov. 1), Kool G Rap explained how he and Grand Daddy I.U. were once stranded and homeless after a performance.
According to G Rap, the allure of gambling at a nearby carnival was too much to fight and the subsequent squandering of his and I.U.'s money led to an equally as insatiable thirst for revenge. After an expensive extension to their hotel stay and repeated attempts at making back what they lost, two of the members of the Juice Crew had to resort to other measure to get home due to losing their transportation money to get to the airport.
UCB improvisers Abra Tabak, Brandon Gardner and Cipha Sounds himself turns Kool G Rap's tale of indulgence and poor financial management into a hilarious social commentary on female objectification.
Cipha Sounds' Take It Personal is every Friday at 9pm at UCB Theatre on 153 3rd St. This Friday (November 8th) the guests will be Smiff-N-Wessun.
