L.A. County Supervisor Calls For Calm In Wake Of Nipsey Hussle's Violent Death

The entertainment industry is mourning the sudden death of Nipsey Hussle as police try to find his killer.

(AllHipHop News) Local officials are calling for calm in the wake of the tragic shooting of Los Angeles rap star, Nipsey Hussle.

Nipsey was shot down in front of his Marathon Clothing Store in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Los Angeles yesterday afternoon.

Nipsey's death sent shock waves around the world, as rap stars from Drake and Wiz Khalifa to Snoop Dogg, expressed their sadness and disbelief upon hearing the news.

Police say one man walked up to Nipsey and shot the rapper and two of his associates and then fled to a waiting vehicle in what has been described as a gang-related killing.

The Los Angeles County Supervisor called for calm, as fears mount that all hell could break loose.

“Violent retaliation for this event will not be tolerated,” Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas said in a statement. “Our communities have lost too many young men and bright futures to the scourge of gun violence. For healing to occur, even from this terrible incident, justice must be sought through legal means.”

Investigators are still seeking a motive for the shooting, but it could be gang-related since Nipsey was a member of the Rollin' 60's Crips.

Cops say they have identified two potential suspects in the case, but so far no one has been arrested.
