Lamar Odom may be in some legal trouble due to overdosing on drugs at a Las Vegas brothel last month. TMZ reports that the Nye County District Attorney is considering charging Odom with cocaine possession or being under the influence of a controlled substance.
This would be the first time in the county's history that someone faced criminal charges after overdosing.
A representative from the District Attorney's office shut down claims that Odom was being treated unfairly because he is a celebrity.
"He's not being treated any differently because he's a celebrity," the rep told TMZ. "He's being treated just like any other Joe Schmo."
The former LA Lakers player is reportedly unable to recognize family and friends and may be suffering from a brain injury. His speech is also limited.
