LAPD Reportedly Investigating Lil Xan For Felony Assault With A Deadly Weapon

A confrontation with a supposed 2Pac fan could be very costly for the 'Total Xanarchy' album creator.

(AllHipHop News) Diego "Lil Xan" Leanos attempted to get out in front of a story involving a near-violent interaction with a man at a Los Angeles gas station. In a statement posted on Instagram, the 22-year-old rhymer claimed he had to use "self defense" against someone that was allegedly still upset over Xan calling Tupac Shakur's music "boring" in 2018.

However, Diego could be the one facing severe legal trouble over the incident, because he pulled out a gun and pointed it at the supposed 2Pac fan. Lil Xan is said to be under investigation for assault with a deadly weapon which carries a maximum sentence of 4 years in prison.

TMZ reports:

LAPD's elite Robbery-Homicide Division has taken over the investigation which could lead to a very serious felony. We're told when the alleged victim first went to police over his Friday night run-in with the rapper -- captured on video obtained by TMZ -- the officer filed a report for assault with a deadly weapon.

Lil Xan's music career essentially stalled following his comments about Pac. Hip Hop veterans such as Waka Flocka and T.I. called out the California-born Mexican-American for disrespecting the rap legend which helped turn a significant portion of the public against the "Betrayed" rapper. Xan's Total Xanarchy album was only able to collect 28,000 first-week units in April 2018, and his sophomore studio LP has been pushed back on multiple occasions.
