Leah Remini Exposes Jada Pinkett-Smith As Scientologist
(AllHipHop News) For years, rapper Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith have been dogged by rumors that their family practices Scientology.
Now, in a new interview with The Daily Beast, former Scientology practitioner Leah Remini says Jada Pinkett-Smith is in fact a member of the religious organization.
"I know Jada’s in. I know Jada’s in. She’s been in Scientology a long time,” Leah Remini told The Daily Beast in an interview slated to run next week.
Leah Remini has been busy exposing the Church of Scientology, and its founder David Miscavige in her series "Going Clear."
Leah Remini became a member Church of Scientology at the age of nine when her mother joined the group.
Remini broke away from the Church in 2013.
Shortly after leaving she released her memoir "Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology."
Remini claims the Church of Scientology is nothing but a cult and scam, developed by "Dianetics" founder L. Ron Hubbard.
In "Going Clear" Leah Remini exposes a number of abuses committed by the Church of Scientology, including claims that they surveil her 24 hours a day and are attempting to blackball her from the industry.
As for Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith, Leah Remini points to the rapper's famous relationship with Tom Cruise, who is a noted member.
She claimed Tom Cruise, who is a high-ranking member of the organization, and Will and Jada wanted to play hide and seek on his lavish estate.
Leah claims Jada was rather open about her membership and was often sighted at the Church's "Celebrity Centre" in Hollywood.
“I never saw Will [Smith] there, but I saw Jada at the Celebrity Centre," Leah Remini told The Daily Beast. "They opened up a Scientology school, and have since closed it. But Jada, I had seen her at the Scientology Celebrity Centre all the time.”
Leah also claims the Smith's have donated tens-of-thousand of dollars to the Church of Scientology, and educational organizations connected to Tom Cruise.
