(AllHipHop News) Lil Durk is not having it with the law.
Just two days ago (May 30th), the Chicago rapper turned himself in on attempted murder charges in Georgia.
In fact, he even dropped a single titled “Turn Myself In” as he apologized to loved ones.
But the rapper, real name Durk Banks also doesn’t want to sit in a jail cell as he awaits trial.
In fact, he promises not to run from the law enforcement if he’s allowed to post bond over the five felony charges including criminal intent to commit murder.
Court documents reveal Durk pointing out the fact that he intentionally surrendered, so there’s no need for the court to think he will run.
His defense is the fact that he is a successful rap artist signed to a major label, and also owns a nearby home where his fiancee and their child resides.
The charges stem from an incident in February when a shooting took place outside an Atlanta restaurant, resulting in a man being hospitalized.
Durk's next court hearing is slated for June 14th.
