Lil Nas X Explains The Difference Between "Old Town Road" & New Song "Panini"
(AllHipHop News) Rapper Lil Nas X is still on the top of the charts with his hit single "Old Town Road," which has been #1 for 11 weeks now.
The rapper is showing no signs of slowing down, and he just debuted his official follow-up to "Old Town Road" on Zane Lowe's World Record on Beats 1.
The rap star premiered a new song “Panini,” taken from his upcoming EP.
The rapper says “Panini” is the first time he recorded in an official studio, and is more representative of what is to come.

"'Old Town Road' wasn't done in a professional studio, that's the thing. It was never even mixed and mastered," Lil Nas X explained. "Like the song that you hear today, it's not mixed or mastered. That's from the $20 bucks I paid [for] the rough mix. It was crazy, but it's like everything else, like lately in my life. You just like, you know a quick adjust. And you know just get ready to move onto the next step or whatever."
Lil Nas X worked with production duo Daytrip to make “Panini,” and another track called "Rodeo."
"I love how I went into the studio and it wasn't like immediate like...because a lot of people like you know they hear 'Old Town Road,' you know they think this is the only thing we're going to do," Lil Nas X said.
