The breakout artist is not worried about being a one hit wonder.

(AllHipHop News) Lil Nas X's name is cemented in the music industry's history books. The 20-year-old newcomer's "Old Town Road" became the all-time longest-running #1 single on the Hot 100 chart (19 weeks).

Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy" was the song to dethrone LNX's collaboration with Billy Ray Cyrus. "Old Town Road" finally slipped to #3 behind Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello's "Señorita" at #2.

Lil Nas took losing the top position in stride and acknowledged the 17-year-old singer-songwriter's new reign as the Hot 100 leader. He tweeted, "Congratulations to billie eilish!! u deserve this!!"

Plus, Lil Nas returned to Twitter to use one of his favorite SpongeBob SquarePants memes to crack a joke at his own expense. The Columbia Records artist posted a video of Squidward Tentacles begging for money with the caption, "me when columbia drop me from the label because billie eilish took the number 1 spot."

Critics of the Georgia-bred rhymer have insisted he will end up being labeled a one hit wonder. However, LNX already has two other songs on the Hot 100 chart right now: "Panini" (#36, peaked at #16) and "Rodeo" featuring Cardi B (#95, peaked at #22). Both records are expected to get official music videos.

"[Potentially being a one hit wonder] is literally told to me at every second at this point, and it's crazy. It's expected though 'cause the type of songs that I've made and then they'll go back to listen to my older songs. I expect that and I welcome that," said Lil Nas in April. "I know. It's not a doubt in my mind that I'm not going to be a one hit wonder. I know big things [are] coming. It's gonna be great."
