(AllHipHop News) Chart-topper Lil Nas X is secretly planning to join Billy Ray Cyrus at California country festival Stagecoach this weekend.
The unlikely pair teamed up for a remix of the rap star's "Old Town Road," which has helped keep him at the top of the U.S. pop charts for the past three weeks, and now X is hoping to return the favor by making Cyrus' festival set something special.
The rumored appearance will mark Lil Nas X's first-ever public performance of the Billboard Hot 100 number one.
It won't be the first time a Stagecoach act has brought a rapper onstage - in 2016 Sam Hunt introduced Snoop Dogg and G-Eazy to his fans.
This year's eclectic Stagecoach bill features sets from rocker Bret Michaels, crooner Tom Jones, and DJ and producer Diplo, who will close the festivities on Sunday night with an afterparty gig on site.
Diplo has also unveiled a new country project with song, "So Long," which features singer Cam, who is billed to perform at Stagecoach on Saturday.
