(AllHipHop News) "Old Town Road" tops the Hot 100 chart for the sixth week. According to Billboard, the Country-Trap single has given Lil Nas X the longest-running debut single for a lead artist in four years.
"Cheerleader" by Omi - the Jamaican singer's first Hot 100 entry - also led the rankings for six weeks in 2015. That same year, Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk!" featuring Bruno Mars controlled the #1 spot for 14 weeks.
In addition, "Old Town Road" also owns five of the seven biggest streaming weeks of all time. It is the first song to record over 100 million weekly streams five different times.
There's a high probability that Lil Nas X's breakout smash will continue to rule the Hot 100. The official music video for the track is expected to be released this Friday, May 17.
