Chicago rapper Lil Reese was back on social media to show off his gunshot wound after he was almost killed last week.

(AllHipHop News) Lil Reese is alive and well.

Just five days ago, the Chicago rapper was involved in a shooting that left him in critical condition.

The incident took place in the Chicago suburb between Pulaski Road and 167th Street.

When police arrived on the scene, Lil Reese, real name Tavares Taylor, was already taken to the hospital.

They found the rapper's bullet-ridden SUV, along with blood on the ground and near the driver’s seat of the car Reese was shot in.

Witnesses told authorities the gunman was chasing Reese and shot at him 12 times before a gunman got out of his car and shot the rapper with a small rifle.

From there, police found Reese in the emergency room of South Suburban Hospital before he was transferred to Advocate Christ Medical Center.

On Friday, November 15th, Reese was released from the hospital after five days of recovering.

Now, the “Traffic” rapper updates his fans via Twitter, joking about how he wants $1 million for an interview.

He also shared a selfie of his stitched-up neck to his 1.4 million followers on Instagram with the caption: “Made 4 it Lifes a gamble I got hella luck 🖤.”
