Lil Tecca Breaks Into Hot 100 Chart's Top 10 For The First Time With "Ran$om"

(AllHipHop News) There may be a late entry in the contested race for rap song of summer 2019. Lil Tecca's "Ran$om" is now a certified smash on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. This week's rankings of the 10 most popular records in America includes the New Yorker's breakout hit.

"Ran$om" jumped 9 spots to #10 on the most recent Hot 100, giving the 16-year-old rapper his first Top Tenner. The single also climbed from #7 to #4 on the Streaming Songs chart thanks to 38.5 million total streams.

The track currently sits at #1 on Spotify's Top 200 weekly chart with 11 million streams and leads SoundCloud's Top 50 chart with 4 million plays. Plus, "Ran$om" is in the Top 3 of Apple Music's Top 100 chart. It also earned a 6.1 million radio airplay audience over the last week.

Lil Tecca released "Ran$om" via Galactic Records under exclusive license to Republic Records. In addition, the Queens-raised newcomer is associated with Steve Stoute's UnitedMasters company.
