(AllHipHop News) Rapper Lil Uzi Vert frustrated fans at Minnesota's Soundset Festival over the weekend by dropping out of his set at late notice for the second time in three years.
Uzi left organizers unimpressed in 2017 when he suddenly canceled his gig at the annual event in St. Paul, but festival administrators decided to excuse him and asked him back for this year's festivities, which featured appearances by Lil Wayne, Run The Jewels, and G-Eazy.
However, he was repeatedly a no-show, and executives took to Instagram on Sunday to address the letdown.
"Back in 2017, Lil Uzi Vert canceled his appearance at Soundset without providing any official statements," they began in the post. "This year, we chose to give him the chance to make it up to fans, but unfortunately, he's just canceled again without explanation."
DaBaby and Lil Nas X were able to sign on as last-minute replacements.
The statement added: "We immediately began scrambling to fill the empty slot and guarantee an exciting lineup for all in attendance, and we believe we've accomplished that by adding not one, but two additional performers to the bill - one will have us all Goin' Baby (DaBaby) and the other will take us on a trip to Old Town Road (Lil Nas X)."
