Lil Wayne Cancels Rolling Loud Over Heavy Police Presence

The rap star 86'd his own set last night because of the cops.

(AllHipHop News) Rap star Lil Wayne was not feeling the police presence at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami last night.

Wayne scrapped his entire headlining set because the cops planned to monitor him from the time he stepped on the festival grounds at the Hard Rock Stadium, all the way up through his performance.

“To all my fans who came to see me at Rolling Loud, I’m sorry but I won’t be performing. The Festival Police (Not Rolling Loud) made it mandatory that I had to be policed and checked to get on the stadium grounds. I do not and will not ever settle for being policed to do my job and give you guys a great show.”

The Miami-Dade Police department was the lead agency policing the grounds, although a variety of other law enforcement agencies were on site, to assist in the arrest of Kodak Black, who was arrested for weapons possession charges.

Rolling Loud is slated to continue today, with performances by Kid Cudi, Lil Uzi, Gucci Mane, Tyga, DMX, Lil Pump and others.
