(AllHipHop News) Lil Wayne appeared on the debut of "Katie," the new show from legendary host Katie Couric, and proclaimed that he was ready to retire.
He proclaimed it was time for his duties as a parent to kick in when he hits 35.
"I know I'll be ready to retire at thirty-five because I am so ready to retire now!" said the father of four.
"Whatever they want to do. I don't want to have no influence ... 'Hey you must do this, you must do that,'" he said. "Because I didn't have that and because I didn't have that I grew up to be exactly what I wanted to be and how I wanted to be. I want that for all of my kids."
At 30, the Young Money mogul still has some entertaining to do.
He recently released Dedication 5 with DJ Drama. The opus has received mixed reviews.
