(AllHipHop News) It seems the beef between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj will now stay off the internet, but that doesn't mean there won't be behind-the-scene politics taking place. For example, Lil Yachty is making his loyalty known to the public.
Yachty appeared on Raquel Harper's new BET late night show Raq Rants. The Nuthin' 2 Prove album creator was asked about choosing between Cardi and Nicki.
'Yup," answered Lil Boat when asked if he feels he has to take sides in the situation. Would Yachty record a song with Minaj? He stated, "I couldn't, as much as I probably would want to."
Yachty is signed to Quality Control Music which is also the label home to Cardi B's husband Offset. Additionally, the couple appeared on Yachty's recent "Who Want the Smoke?" track which some listeners believe contains subtle disses directed at Nicki.
After alleged subliminal lyrics, tear-filled interviews, a physical altercation at New York Fashion Week, and a drawn-out back-and-forth on social media, both Nicki Minaj and Cardi B appeared to call off the online antics.
