(AllHipHop News) The music world lost Albert "Prodigy" Johnson in 2017. Over a year later, the Hip Hop community is still paying respect to the Queens emcee.

Hamilton: An American Musical creator Lin-Manuel Miranda linked with Prodigy's Mobb Deep partner Havoc for "Boom Goes The Cannon." The song/video is part of the Hamildrop series.

It was an honor being part of the Hamilton project just on the strength alone I'm a huge fan of the musical; I am a history buff so it was right up my alley," said Havoc. "This being one of the few last recordings I did with Prodigy definitely holds a special place in my heart and always will when I hear the record. He'll forever be my right hand man.'

Besides "Boom Goes The Cannon," the Hamildrop releases have included the "Wrote My Way Out" remix by Royce Da 5'9", Black Thought, and Joyner Lucas. Miranda also recruited numerous rap artists for 2016's chart-topping The Hamilton Mixtape.
