The well-known lawyer suggests money played a role in Trigga not facing a jury.

(AllHipHop News) R&B singer Tremaine "Trey Songz" Neverson received some good news last week when he found out the Los Angeles City Attorney dropped assault charges filed against him. However, celebrity lawyer Lisa Bloom is not done taking on the "Say Aah" performer.

"The prosecutors in Los Angeles will have to explain how they charged Trey Songz with a felony, then a misdemeanor, then dropped everything, even though Andrea Buera immediately went to the hospital and contacted the police after the alleged assault. In our system, too often, money talks," said Bloom.

She added, "We are just getting started in our fight for justice against Trey Songz."

Buera accused the 33-year-old entertainer of assaulting her at a party during NBA All-Star Weekend in February. Neverson has maintained he is innocent of any alleged crimes involving Buera.
