(AllHipHop News) Logic is attempting to build a brand to rival rap star Jay-Z with his newly renamed record label.
Logic recently revealed he changed the name of his record label from Elysium Records to BobbyBoy Records.
In addition to releasing his own music on the label, Logic revealed he has several other artists signed to BobbyBoy already, although he did divulge any details.
The Maryland rapper believes his deal with Def Jam has the potential to put his label and his BobbyBoy brand on par with Jay's iconic Roc-A-Fella record label.
"BobbyBoy Records is on it's Roc-A-Fella s##t because it's partnered with Def Jam/Universal Music Group," Logic said. "It's amazing, I can't even believe I am in a position to do all this s##t. It's super weird."
In May, Logic also signed a worldwide administration deal with Universal Music Publishing Group.
