Ludacris, Migos, Metro Boomin & More Acts Tapped For EA Sports Bowl In Atlanta

(AllHipHop News) Some fans have called on the NFL to include more homegrown Hip Hop talent for the Super Bowl LIII festivities in Atlanta. While it's still unclear if any ATL artists will be part of the game's halftime show, Electronic Arts and On Location Experiences announced the city will be represented at the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest.

The EA Sports Bowl will take place during Super Bowl weekend. Atlanta-based stars Ludacris, Metro Boomin, and Lil Jon, as well as Quality Control Music acts, Migos, Lil Yachty, and Lil Baby were tapped to perform at the State Farm Arena for the "Welcome To Atlanta Showcase."

“I’m proud to welcome everyone to Atlanta, my hometown, alongside EA Sports,” said Ludacris. “You know me and my friends are going to celebrate Atlanta’s amazing music and culture, this is going to be a night you won’t want to miss.”

Quality Control co-founders Kevin "Coach K" Lee and Pierre "Pee" Thomas added, "Quality Control was born in the streets of Atlanta, so it made sense for us to participate with EA Sports to help showcase Atlanta Hip Hop as the official kickoff to the biggest sports weekend of the year."

The Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest will run from January 31 through February 2. Attendees of the "Welcome To Atlanta Showcase" will also have the chance to play some of the hottest EA Sports games of the year, including EA SPORTS Madden NFL 19,EA SPORTS FIFA 19, EA SPORTS NHL 19 and EA SPORTS NBA LIVE 19.

"Atlanta has an incredibly rich history in music, and it was important for us to draw inspiration for the EA Sports Bowl lineup directly from our host city,” said Randy Chase, Senior Director of Marketing for EA Sports. “We’re looking forward to celebrating Atlanta’s music culture with some of the city’s most successful and popular artists. We’ve got a great lineup announced already, and a few more surprises up our sleeves that are going to start the weekend off right with an incredible show.”

The "Welcome To Atlanta Showcase" is scheduled for Thursday, January 31. Tickets for the Bud Light Super Bowl Music Fest and EA Sports Bowl will be available Friday, November 9 at noon ET at www.superbowlmusicfest.com.
