Mac Miller, Eminem, Rick Ross & Cardi B Among Top Google Searches In 2018

Americans were very curious about soccer, storms, politics, and celebrity deaths this year.

(AllHipHop News) Google revealed its lists of most searched items in 2018. People in the US appeared to be extremely interested in four rappers over the last year.

Mac Miller, who passed away on September 7, placed third in overall searches behind the World Cup and Hurricane Florence. The record-breaking Marvel movie Black Panther landed at #6.

On the "People" list (not including deaths), Kamikaze album creator Eminem placed at #6. Rick Ross came in at #9, and breakout entertainer Cardi B was right behind the MMG Boss at #10.

Fellow musicians Demi Lovato (#1) and Ariana Grande (#8) also made the Top 10 of the "People" searches. Lovato's hospitalization for a drug overdose in July likely led to the singer being the 9th most overall Googled topic in 2018.
