(AllHipHop News) The story about Kanye West allegedly agreeing to perform at the Philipp Plein International AG’s New York Fashion Week show keeps adding layers. At first, it was reported that Philipp Plein was scammed out of a $900,000 advance by a fake Kanye.
G.O.O.D. Music affiliate Malik Yusef was accused of forging the rapper’s name on a contract. Yusef then posted a series of tweets blasting his “friend and brother” Ye for not defending him of the allegations.
"I am a little surprised that my friend and brother [Kanye West] would so easily protect, defend and profess so much love 4 his new friend [Donald Trump] but have none of that NRG 4 sum1 who has been there every step of the way is being 'attackted'. Oh well #GODSPLAN," wrote Yusef.
On February 10, Yusef returned to Twitter to release an official statement. The Chicago-bred musician denied being connected to any theft or fraud involving Philipp Plein, and he claimed a $750,000 donation for the Donda Social nonprofit organization was returned to the fashion designer.
