Man Who Allegedly Provided Pills For Mac Miller Pleads Not Guilty In Rap Star’s Death

A man in Los Angeles accused of providing the drug that killed Mac Miller was arraigned today in court for his role in the rap star’s death.

(AllHipHop News) The first man to be arrested for Mac Miller’s death stood and before a judge today.

Cameron Pettit is scheduled to be arraigned in Los Angeles, and has pleaded not guilty in connection to Mac Miller’death according to ABC News.

The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania rap star was found dead inside his Los Angeles home on September 7, 2018.

A toxicology report revealed Mac Miller, real name Malcolm James McCormick, had died from a drug overdose, after ingesting oxycodone laced with the deadly synthetic drug, fentanyl.

The DEA launched an investigation into Mac Miller’s death and eventually charged three people.

Cameron Pettit was arrested on September 4, 2019, and held without bail for providing one of his drug dealers with the pills to sell to Mac Miller.

On September 23, DEA agents and local police in Lake Havasu, Arizona arrested a 36-year-old man named Ryan Reavis and busted him with prescription pills, a prescription pad, drug paraphernalia, and guns.

That same day, Stephen “Stevie” Walter was taken into custody in Los Angeles for his involvement in Mack Miller’s death.
