(AllHipHop News) Cardi B may be taking a break from touring, but she will be busy fighting an ongoing lawsuit on her damn time.
Kevin Brophy is trying to get 5 million dollars out of Cardi, claiming she never used permission to feature him on the cover, and embarrassed him since the image was photoshopped to give the appearance he was giving her oral sex.
First of all, Kevin Brophy doesn't even own the copyright to the image, and Cardi's success was due to her music, not the image on "Gangsta Bitch Music Vol. 1."
Cardi's lawyer also denied Brophy's claims that he was featured giving cardi oral sex on the cover and that the man in the image is simply bowing down to the female rap superstar.
"The plaintiff’s assertion that the album art photo depicts ‘him’ engaged in ‘sex’ with Cardi B, ‘cunnilinging’ her [plaintiff’s word], while she looks ‘lustfully’ at the camera—none of which are apparent from the picture itself—is simply a fanciful result of plaintiff’s ego and imagination running amok.”
Closing arguments are set for this August.
