(AllHipHop News) It's been an extraordinary week for Cardi B. The regular, degular, shmegular girl from the Bronx took home her first Grammy and became the first solo female rapper to win the Best Rap Album award.
Additionally, Cardi made history on the Hot 100 this week. "Girls Like You" - her collaboration with Maroon 5 - spent its 33rd week in the chart's Top 10, putting the song in a tie for most total weeks in that region. Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" also remained in the Top 10 for 33 weeks.
Cardi B has set several chart records during her two-year reign as one of the most popular rap stars on the planet. She is the only female rapper to have three #1 singles, including "Girls Like You" which spent 7 weeks in the top spot.
Plus, the former Love & Hip Hop star currently holds the record for most total weeks at #1 for a female rapper. In April of 2018, she had the most Hot 100 chart entries at one time for a female artist with 13.
Three months earlier, Cardi joined Beyoncé as the only women to have four songs in the Top 10 of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart simultaneously. The "Money" hitmaker currently has six songs in the Top 50 of the Hot 100.
