Maroon 5, Travis Scott And Big Boi Play It Safe With Super Bowl Performance

The rap stars hit the stage with The Maroon 5 during the year's biggest television event.

(AllHipHop News) The Maroon 5's controversial Super Bowl half-time show with Travis Scott and Big Boi is finally behind us.

Anyone expecting a political statement from Travis Scott or Big Boi during the Super Bowl halftime performance were left severely disappointed.

After months of controversy over their appearances, the rap stars decided to play it safe, as did Maroon 5.

Maroon 5 opened with their songs "Harder To Breathe" and "This Love."

Travis Scott came in and opened up his set with his verse from the hit single "Sicko Mode," while engulfed in a sea of flames.

Travis did some stage-diving, and then a gospel choir came out, as Maroon 5 sang their hit song "She Will Be Loved."

Big Boi made a memorable entrance in a tan fur coat atop an old school Cadillac.

Big Boi performed his hit song "I Like The Way You Move," with Sleepy Brown in a performance that drew the biggest crowd response in his hometown.

Maroon 5 followed Big Boi's performance with their massive songs "Sugar" and "Moves Like Jagger" before a shirtless Adam Levine wrapped up their set.

Detractors of the performers hitting the stage had called for them to boycott the Super Bowl's halftime show, over the NFL's treatment of Colin Kaepernick over his protest of the National Anthem, by taking a knee during its performance.
