Mary J. Blige Allegedly Sued For Trashing Mansion & Not Paying Rent

Mary J. Blige and ex-husband Martin Isaacs owe over $58K.

(AllHipHop News) Mary J. Blige is allegedly being sued for the time spent at her mansion in Los Angeles.

In addition to trashing the home, Golden Venus LLC, claims the New York singer and her ex-husband skipped out on monthly payments.

The Blast reports Mary J. Blige signed a lease for the Beverly Hills property beginning in May of 2015, and was expected to pay $25,000 a month with a $51,000 security deposit. Almost a year later, Golden Venus increased the rent to $27,000, a number which the couple agreed on.

In August of 2016, they accused Blige and Kendu Isaacs of not paying rent for three months straight.

A deal was negotiated which included $27,000 up front to square away the differences. However, that was never paid.

Additionally, it appears the home was left in $16,000 worth of damages, which includes holes in the walls, broken water heaters and freezers, a broken garage door, and more.

Now, Golden Venus is requesting the $58,000 from Mary J. Blige and Kendu, who finalized their divorce earlier this year.
