(AllHipHop News) Harlem rap star Mase set the Internet on fire when he unexpectedly dropped a diss record against former friend, Cam'ron.
Mase dropped a searing record aimed at Cam called "The Oracle" yesterday (November 24th).
The track was a response to a variety of comments Cam'ron made on his album The Program.
According to Mase, he wasn't really planning a response until a fan questioned him about Cam'ron's most recent lyrical attack, while he was hanging out at a Thanksgiving parade.
"Somebody asked me about it at the parade and I was with my kids, but that’s New York for you," Mase wrote. "So I put them on a plane, sent them back home and then was like “Daddy’s gonna handle this.”
Mase said he had no plans on replying, however, the rapper said his former Children of the Corn group member took it too far when he threatened to kill him on the song "It's Killa."
"I let a lot of things slide, but when you start getting to the body harm aspect of it, I can’t let that slide. That’s really all it’s about," Mase explained.
Cam'ron has already teased a reply to "The Oracle" on his Instagram page, as the feud between the rappers heats up.
