Master P Sues Business Partners Over Cannabis Business Deal
(AllHipHop News) Rapper Master P is suing his business partners for allegedly reneging on their deal to work together on his legal cannabis venture.
The hip-hop mogul teamed up with private equity firm Privateer Holdings in March to produce and distribute products in his legal cannabis line Master P's Trees in California.
He claims their deal was supposed to last a year and Master P would be in charge of promoting the brand and covering half of the production costs, and both parties would split profits equally, according to documents.
They were supposed to launch the products in July at a music festival, where Master P would be performing, but Privateer executives allegedly reneged on the deal that month, and he's now suing them for breach of contract and fraud
